Yes. Yes. That is who you think it is.

Yes. Yes. He is exactly who you think he is. HS students from ISB were hired as extras for “Good Morning Vietnam”

After three days of experiencing Southern hospitality of the highest standard, (Watered, fed and entertained) from Freda, not to forget her husband, Roger, and their dogs Cooter and Six, John and I are thinking of adding “Southern Belle” to Freda’s aka’s.

Shelley: Hey, you have “Honey” in your Username too. How’d you come up with that?

Freda: It’s from my all time favourite joke.

Shelley: You have to share.

Freda: Two southern ladies were sharing a hospital room in the maternity ward.

The first lady was an arrogant woman married to a very very wealthy man. She wouldn’t stop complaining that she had to share a room. The second lady was a well mannered woman of moderate means. When the conversation centered on having babies, the first woman started by saying, “When my first child was born, my husband built a beautiful mansion for me.”

The second woman commented, “Well honey, bless your heart.”

The first woman continued, “When my second child was born, my husband bought me a beautiful white cadillac.”

Again, the second woman commented, “Well honey, bless your heart.”

The first woman added, “Then, when my third child was born, my husband bought me this exquisite diamond ring and necklace.

Yet again, the second woman commented, “Well honey, bless your heart.”

The first woman then asked her companion, “What did your husband buy for you when you had your first child?”

“My husband sent me to charm school,” declared the second woman.

“Charm school?” the first woman cried, “Oh, my God! What on earth for?”

The second woman responded, “Well for example, instead of saying, “Who gives a S$%T!!” I learned to say, “Well honey, bless your heart.”

Shelley: Oh! Ha! Ha! Ha! That’s too funny. That reminds me of a similar joke I heard.

Freda: Well honey, bless your heart.

Ha! Ha! Now that’s a cotton pickin’ lie. Freda would no more say that to me than a mama alligator would eat her young. What d’y’all think? Southern Belle or not?

  1. Welcome and hope Y’all enjoy it. Looks like y’all are just getting started on your southern part of the trip. Just think when you go through Houston Texas you will only be about 11 Hours away from my part of Texas. You two have a blessed week and drive careful. Jim
