This summer, my husband John and I finally met Matt’s love of his life, Emma.
We immediately fell in love with this charming bubbly Scottish lass. How could we not?
We were thrilled when they announced their engagement.
John and I are not the least bit worried about their future as a married couple. They’ll be fine.
Shelley: Emma, what colour will your bridesmaids’ dresses be?
Emma, with a Scottish accent: I’m thinking dark blue or black. Something very classy with pinky, peachy, blush flowers to offset them. They’ll really pop, don’t you think?

Shelley: Absolutely. What about you, Matt? What will you and your groomsmen be wearing?
Matt: Whatever Emma tells me.
Emma: Matt! That’s not true. You can wear anything you want…
Matt: Top Hat and Tails.
Emma: Erm Matt. You didn’t let me finish my sentence.
Matt: Oh, sorry, go ahead.
Emma: Within reason.
Matt: Top Hat and Tails?
Emma: Nooo.
Matt: Black and Yellow, like Batman?
Emma: Noooo.
Matt: Nude?
Emma: No.
Matt: Fine. Whatever Emma tells me.
Just fine.
